Copilot
Your AI assistant for running your workspace — ask questions in plain language and let Copilot get things done.
Copilot is your always-on AI assistant inside Cloodot. Instead of clicking through menus, you can just tell Copilot what you want — ask about your conversations, pull up customer information, or get help with day-to-day workspace tasks.
Copilot is available to admins and owners only. If you don't see it in the sidebar, ask an admin on your team to give you access.
Opening Copilot
Click Copilot in the left sidebar (look for the sparkle icon). You'll land on a clean chat screen with the prompt "What do you want to do today?"
Asking Copilot something
Type your question or request into the message box at the bottom and hit Enter. Copilot understands natural language, so you can be conversational — no special syntax required.
Some examples of what you can ask:
- "Summarize the last 10 conversations about refunds."
- "How many unanswered WhatsApp messages do we have?"
- "Pull up the contact details for Sarah from yesterday's chat."
- "Which segment has the most high-intent leads this week?"
- "What's our answer rate on FAQs this month?"
How Copilot works
Copilot isn't just a chatbot — it can take actions on your behalf using the tools you've already set up in your workspace. For example, it can search your knowledge base, look through conversations, pull contact data, and work with any skill sets or MCP servers you've connected.
Reading Copilot's response
- Your messages appear as dark bubbles on the right.
- Copilot's replies appear as lighter bubbles on the left, with rich formatting (lists, tables, links).
- Actions Copilot takes show up inline. You'll see a progress indicator like "Running actions (2/5)" while it works, and "5 actions completed" when it's done.
- Click or tap any action to expand it and see exactly what Copilot did — the inputs it used and the data it got back.
Giving Copilot more to work with
The more tools Copilot has access to, the more it can do for you. You can extend its abilities by:
- Creating Skill Sets for custom actions
- Connecting MCP Servers to bring in external tools and data
- Building out your Knowledge Base so Copilot can answer questions accurately
Clearing your conversation
Click the trash icon in the top-right of the Copilot page to clear the chat history and start fresh. This only clears your view — it doesn't affect your actual inbox, contacts, or any data in the workspace.
Tips for good results
- Be specific about what you want. "Show me conversations from VIP customers that haven't been replied to in 24 hours" is better than "show me conversations".
- Ask one thing at a time. Copilot handles complex requests well, but breaking a big task into smaller asks usually gives cleaner answers.
- Follow up. If the first answer isn't quite what you needed, just keep the conversation going — Copilot remembers context within the same session.
- Review actions before trusting the output. Expand the action details to double-check what Copilot looked up, especially before making decisions based on the answer.
