Contacts Overview
View, manage, and organize every contact in Cloodot.
Every person who messages you through a connected channel lands in Contacts. Use these views to learn about them, organize them, and track who needs follow-up.
The four contact views
Click Contacts in the sidebar to open four views:
- All — Every contact in a searchable table
- Watchlists — Selected segments monitored side by side
- Segments — Saved groups defined by filter rules
- Deals — A drag-and-drop pipeline board
Pick the right view
All Contacts is best for:
- Day-to-day contact management
- Searching for specific people
- Bulk updates or exports
- Editing contact details
Watchlists is best when you want to:
- Monitor selected segments side by side
- Keep complaints, VIP customers, follow-ups, or leads in view
- See matching contacts update automatically
Segments helps you:
- Create smart groups that update automatically
- Target specific types of contacts (like "VIP customers" or "Needs follow-up")
- Organize without manual sorting
Deals is best when you want to:
- Track contacts as they move through a sales or lifecycle pipeline
- Drag deals between stages on a kanban board
- See how many contacts sit in each stage at a glance
Terms to know
- Contact — Someone who's messaged you on any channel, or who you've imported
- Segment — A saved filter that groups matching contacts automatically
- Stage — Where a contact sits in your pipeline, shown as columns on the Deals board
- Custom Fields — Extra info you track, like "Plan type" or "City"
