WhatsApp Catalogues

Sync your Meta Commerce Manager catalogues into Cloodot and let your AI showcase products in conversations.

WhatsApp Catalogues brings the product catalogues you've set up in Meta Commerce Manager into Cloodot. Once synced, your AI Persona can reference products inside WhatsApp conversations — sharing images, prices, and details right where customers are asking.

Go to Settings → Organization → WhatsApp → Catalogues.

Your catalogues live in Meta Commerce Manager — Cloodot pulls them in and keeps them in sync. You still manage the source of truth (products, inventory, pricing) in Meta.

Prerequisites

Before you can sync catalogues, you'll need:

Browsing your catalogues

When you open the page, you'll see a list of every catalogue synced to your workspace with:

  • The catalogue name
  • The number of products it contains
  • Last synced timestamp
  • A Status badge
  • A view action to open and manage products

Filtering the list

  • Search — Type to filter catalogues by name
  • Channel — If you have more than one WhatsApp channel, use the channel selector to filter catalogues by number (or choose All Channels)

Syncing catalogues

Click Sync Catalogues to pull the latest catalogues and products from Meta. The button shows "Syncing..." while it runs.

Run a sync any time you've added, removed, or updated products in Meta Commerce Manager. You can also rely on the periodic background sync — manual syncs are just for when you need changes reflected right away.

If you haven't connected WhatsApp yet, you'll see "No WhatsApp Channel Connected" with a Connect WhatsApp button. Syncing is disabled until a channel is linked.

Managing a single catalogue

Click any catalogue in the list to open it. You'll land on the products view, showing:

  • The catalogue name and total product count in the header
  • A list of products with name, image, price, and SKU
  • Tools to search, filter, and open any product's details

What you can do here

  • Browse products — Scroll or search through everything in the catalogue
  • Edit product details — Adjust how a product appears in Cloodot
  • Delete products — Remove items you no longer want your AI to reference
  • Use bulk actions — Select multiple products at once for larger edits

Deleting a product here removes it from Cloodot only — your Meta catalogue is untouched. To permanently remove products, delete them in Meta Commerce Manager.

Testing with the playground

Click Play in the header to open an inline playground. It lets you chat with your AI Persona while the catalogue is loaded, so you can see exactly how products will be recommended in real conversations — a handy way to sanity-check new items before customers see them.

Getting the most out of catalogues

  • Clear titles and descriptions — The cleaner your product data, the better your AI can match it to customer questions.
  • High-quality images — WhatsApp displays product images inline in the chat, so make sure they look good.
  • Keep inventory honest — Out-of-stock items can still show up in conversations, so remove or hide anything you can't fulfill.
  • Test in the playground — Before launching a new catalogue, chat with the playground to see which items the AI picks for common customer questions.
